Banana Mummies Popsicle

These Halloween Banana mummies popsicles are made with fresh bananas, white chocolate and candy eyes and are a fun treat to celebrate the ghoulish holiday.

And look how cute they are ! Pop them in the fridge and they are a cool, spooky treat!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 bananas (cut in half)

  • 2 cup melted white chocolate

  • 12 candy eyes (2 for each banana piece)

  • 6 popsicle sticks

  • Icing bag

DIRECTIONS

  • Cut the bananas in half horizontally, place the popsicle stick in the bottom and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 2 hours or until the bananas are solid.

  • Melt the white chocolate (according to package instructions)

  • Remove the bananas from the freezer, dip in the chocolate until all the sides are coated.

  • Place back on the parchment paper and put it back into the freezer for another 20 minutes or until chocolate hardens.

  • Remove chocolate coated bananas from the freezer and add 2 drops of the melted chocolate and place eye candy on the bananas.

  • Scoop the remaining chocolate into the icing bag and make a small snip in a corner. Drizzle the white chocolate back and forth to make your own mummy designs.

  • Allow the chocolate to harden.
