These dark chocolate dipped apple slices are dipped in dark chocolate and then topped with pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds and desiccated coconut for a crunchy, sweet and tart treat!!!
This treat is easy to make with just 5 simple ingredients. These dark chocolate apple bark are colorful, festive and delicious not to mention they are nutritious and satisfying snack.
INGREDIENTS
2 green or honey crisp apples (thinly sliced)
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (melted)
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 unsweetened desiccated coconut
DIRECTIONS
Wash, dry and thinly slice the apples.
In a small bowl melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in increments of 15 seconds stirring in between until the dark chocolate is melted.
Dip each apple slice in the melted dark chocolate so that half of the slice is covered in chocolate and place it on a sheet of parchment paper.
Sprinkle pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds and unsweetened desiccated coconut on top.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
