Dill & Garlic Roasted Chickpeas

This roasted chickpeas recipe is very simple to make and super crispy and delicious

You can either snack on these crispy roasted chickpeas or use them as croutons in salad or soup to add some crunch


 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can of unsalted chickpea

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp dried dill

  • 1/2 tsp ground sumac

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven for 390 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas, and pat dry with a paper towel or allow chickpeas to dry at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Spread the dried chickpeas on to the parchment paper. Save aquafaba to use for other recipes (You can make this vegan chocolate mousse using aquafaba)


  • Add olive oil, salt, garlic powder, dill and ground sumac to chickpea and mix it properly

  • Roast the chickpeas for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.

  • Enjoy immediately or store in jar for 3 to 5 days
