Ginger-Spiced Chai

One thing about growing up in Indian household is you become chai lover for sure. This ginger spiced chai is favorite hot beverage in every Indian household. This chai tea is a must to kick start your day.

Making this Tapri ka chai recipe at home was very nostalgic as during my college days I would go to tapri with my friends and have this adrak wali kadak chai with parle G biscuits

To make this chai recipe at home as same as tapri wali chai you need to make sure that you boil tea leaves, spices in water for long time to give it strong flavor than add milk and boil it for few more minutes.

You can watch full recipe video for this recipe below

Important notes

  • If you prefer a lighter tea then boil tea for less time. If you prefer a strong intense tea, then boil for a few more minutes.

  • I have added 2 tbsp of sugar (for 3 cups of tea) but you can add less or more sugar as per your taste

  • I have used 2 % milk in this recipe but you can use full fat milk as well (you might need to adjust the quantity from 1 cup to 3/4 cup)

  • I would highly recommend not to use fat free milk as it will not give desire taste
