Homemade Almond Butter


Easy Homemade Almond butter made with wholesome ingredients and much better and cheaper than store bought version.

Add this wholesome and creamy almond butter to your morning toast or to your porridge for some healthy fats.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups raw almonds

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread raw almonds across a large baking sheet and toast almonds for 7 to 10 minutes


  • Let the almonds cool until they are warm

  • Transfer the almonds to a high-speed blender or food processor. Add salt, maple syrup and coconut

  • Blend until creamy. Pause to scrape down the sides as required. Blend until almond butter is very smooth and creamy (this may take few minutes)

  • Let the almond butter cool and then transfer it to a jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
